In order to satisfy client demand and improve SRS services, it is now possible to receive personalised consultations that require disclosure of personal data over the phone. This service is available by calling 67120000; clients abroad can call Diaspora customer service at +371 67122443.
Personalised consultations mean that clients can now discuss their personal situation, based on data available to SRS, over the phone. To date, this was not available because SRS could not verify the identity of the person calling.
In order to receive personalized information, the caller must connect to their Electronic Declaration System (EDS) account during the call and identify the 4-symbol code that will appear on the screen.
In cases where questions cannot be answered over the phone, the SRS client service agent will suggest the most appropriate method of communication with SRS.
Please note that anyone can connect to EDS through: your internet bank; e-Signature (e-me), or electronic ID card (eID). Existing clients can connect to EDS by using their user name and password, as usual.
SRS consultants can help you with taxes and EDS, customs, and excise tax and goods issues. In specific cases, additional issues can be discussed, such as state official tax declarations.
