Replies available in-person, telephone, written or electronically on questions regarding the application of existing SRS regulations and the function and use of SRS information systems.

Process description

  1. Service requests
    Help regarding SRS matters may be received:
    • face-to-face at SRS client service centres only after pre-recording by phone +371 67120005 (see www.vid.gov.lv “Contacts”);
    • telephone by calling 67120000 (in Latvia) or +371 67120000 (outside Latvia). Telephone call are subject to charges by the communication operator.
    If the SRS client wants personal service, he/she must connect to EDS, select the “Code for Telephone Identification” field, press the “View” button, and the unique four-symbol code, such as “01AB”, must be identified to the SRS employee.
    Advice on general issues such as applicable tax rates, procedures for submitting declarations, SRS business hours, etc. can be provided to SRS customers without personal
    identification;
    • electronically through EDS - “Correspondence with SRS” - or by e-mail to vid@vid.gov.lv, signed with a secure electronic signature; or using the official electronic address (e-address) or
    • by post.

  2. Receipt of services
    As requested by the client.
