      35.09 % if the employee is covered by all types of social insurance, of which:
      • 24.09 % — employer;
      • 11 % — employee;


      30,87 % for persons who have the right to old-age pension, of which:
      • 21.31 % — employer;
      • 9,56 % — employee;

      5 % and 32,15 % for persons who carry out economic activities;

      27,73 % for a board member of a capital company, for whom there is a duty to pay social tax from the minimum monthly wage (if the monthly turnover of the capital company exceeds the minimum monthly wage, which is multiplied by the coefficient of 5 (in 2018, from EUR 2,150)), and the company has no employees or the object of mandatory contributions for all employees is smaller than the minimum monthly wage.


      Other rates in accordance with the Law On State Social Insurance


      1) calculated employee’s remuneration, from which personal income tax is deducted;
      2) self-employed person’s earned income which exceeds EUR 430: 32.15% and an additional 5% rate for income, from the object of mandatory contributions and the difference of actual income.
      3) 5% shall be paid by self-employed persons from monthly income which does not exceed the amount of the minimum monthly wage, i.e., EUR 430. If self-employed person’s tax on income does not exceed EUR 50 per year, contributions of 5% may not be made.
