A manual for the programming interface of the new Transit Control System 2 (TCS2) is available

The SRS National Customs Board informs that work is underway to develop the new functionalities of the Electronic Customs Data Processing System (EMDAS). The new functionalities will ensure the possibility to submit and process data related to transit, export and import customs procedures in EMDAS and will replace the existing functionalities. The Transit Control System 2 (TCS2), the Automated Export System and the Automated Import System are being developed following the requirements of the Union Customs Code[1] and the common system specifications established by the European Commission.

In Kurzeme, an illegal storage of tobacco products is discovered

Officials of the Tax and Customs Police Department of the State Revenue Service (SRS), in co-operation with the State Border Guard, discovered an illegal storage of tobacco products in Kurzeme.

SRS client services in person - by appointment only

The State Revenue Service (SRS) has gradually resumed on-site client services in Riga and other Latvian cities since June of this year. Outside Riga, this takes place by appointment only, but in Riga, clients could wait in a queue outside the building. However, considering the rapid increase of Covid-19 morbidity in Europe and the arrival of cooler weather that increases the risk of infection, starting October 5, the SRS Riga customer service center at Talejas iela 1 will provide on-site client services by appointment only by calling 67120005.
