Service requests
The person presenting the goods at the time of presentation of the goods shall carry out the following activities at the customs office of exit:
(a) indicate the number of the export declaration MRN;
(b) indicate any discrepancies between the goods declared and released for export and the goods presented, including cases where the goods were re-packaged or put up in a container prior to their presentation at the customs office of exit;
(c) where only part of the goods covered by the export declaration is presented, the person presenting the goods shall also indicate the quantity of goods actually presented.
However, if the said goods are presented in packages or as container cargo, the person shall notify the number of packages and, in the case of container cargo, the identification numbers of the containers.
The goods declared for export may be presented at a customs office other than that declared on the export declaration. Where the actual customs office of exit is situated in a Member State other than the one originally declared, that customs office shall request the particulars of the export declaration to the customs office of export.
The customs office of exit (frontier) is normally authorised to declare goods which are not subject to prohibitions or restrictions and whose value per consignment and per declarant does not exceed EUR 3000.
Export declarations are submitted electronically in the EMDAS section of the State Revenue Service Electronic Declaration System (https://eds.vid.gov.lv/login/ – Customs data processing EMDAS – AES).
An export declaration in paper format is submitted only in the derogation mode.Receipt of services
