Service requests
All private individuals must submit a declaration, to border or customs officials when crossing the border and show the cash.
Cash declaration forms are available at border crossing points as well on the SRS website in Latvian and English.
In the case of cash sent by mail, in consignments or by courier mail, with a value of EUR 10 000 or more, the competent authority shall be entitled to request the lodging of a cash disclosure declaration. At the request of customs, the payee, the consignor or the representative appointed by it must make this declaration before the customs office within 30 days.
